today in class we went over facts about different counties around the world. we found all these facts through the cia fact book. mr. schick  was working on getting a plain ticket so he can choose where he sits. he has to go up to a wedding in main he is flying to Boston soon. he says he is scared because he wants to be able to choose his seat on the plan so he "dosnt have to sit in the 2 square feet of space because the seat is in the middle of two 300 pond people." that is all we did in class today it is not much to talk about.

today in class we talked about death rates and birth rates for different countries. We talked about how these rates affect the total population of a country. the birth rate in the united states is 2.06 but in order to keep the death and birth rate even it must be 2.1. even though our birth rate is only 2.06 we still have people immigrating to the united states there for the population remains steady in the united states. We also talked about the push and pull factors for countries. An example of a push factor is in Syria people are leaving at a large rate because of all the war that is going on there. an example of a pull rate is people coming to Canada because the health care there is so good, no terrorism, reduced crime, and they don't get involved with war often. that domes up todays class.

today in class we received our tests back. mr. Schick rung a bell every time someone got an A on their test. not many people were there today because of the freshman retreat. we went over the test and explained all the questions incase someone didn't understand. over all we did not do much in class due to the fact that half of the class was not there. there is not much else to talk about in this blog because almost nothing happened today.

yesterday friday september 19 i learned that france is 15th in the world for life expectancy at 81.66. The migration rate in the united states is at 2.65. The united states is number 42 in life expectancy. The united states last year had a migration rate of 3.65. One year ago the migration rate in canada was 5.65. A crude death rate is a number of deaths per 1000 of the population. A crude birth rate is a number of births per 1000 of the population. that is all my notes from class

We also talked about globalization and americanization in other countries. Now there are mcdonalds in other countries because of americanization. We went over did you know 3.0 which basically has the same facts from americanization and globalization accept for a few facts that have to do with population and technology. We then talked about A message to Garcia and all the facts we need to know for the test on Wednesday.

Today in class we went deeper into a video of facts about the world in 2012. We analyzed all the data from the video. Mr. schtick yelled at some kids who were talking again. We were also talking about the new apple watch and the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. We talked about the features of the apple watch like how it had apple pay. With apple pay you can pay at a restaurant just by swiping a chip over it. After that mr. Schick said that some day we will look back at iPhones and think they are pathetic be cause we will all have chips in our heads to send messages i thought that was reely funny

My initial reaction was that these facts were kind of interesting. I think some of the changes mentioned in the video were bad for me, but most of them are fine. Technology plays a large roll in my life i use technology for my homework, tv, games, communication, and music

Today in school we were assigned seats for human geo. We voted not to keep them because a few people including me, gave a speech. I gave the best speech ever. I know sit next to my friend jack. We talked about democracies and republics. we learned that the united states was a republic. Mr. Schick fought us a few other things about Greece and other places in the world. It was a short class because it was at the end of the day. We did not learn much but it was fun because we voted to change seats.

Today during class we talked more about a story called Message to Garcia. It is about a guy who needs to bring Garcia a message from the president. Garcia was in Cuba fighting in the spanish american war. The story was a rant saying that if this man was not chosen to deliver the letter it would not be delivered because everyone from the newer generation is lazy. Also today Mr. Schick check if we had our books. I did today was a fun class overal
